Introduction
Life Changing Kids Reading is a parent-controlled tool to help children improve their reading and related skills. We prioritize your privacy and comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Data Collection and Use
We collect only what’s necessary and use your data only for the following purposes:
• Progress data is tracked locally on your device and synced to our cloud storage service as a backup in case of issues. This data is solely for your benefit and allows you to quickly navigate to the last reading position for your child – using the “My Child” icon in the top right navigation bar.
• If you choose, you may update the name of your child inside the app at My Account > Children. This information is voluntary, provided by you at your discretion, and for the sole purpose of allowing you to distinguish different child profiles inside your account.
• Your name, email and payment information is collected via our payment processor for app access and purchase confirmation.
• Billing details are gathered through the payment processor for payment processing and order fulfillment.
We don’t track anything else, collect additional data, or otherwise use your data for analytics, ads, or anything else.
COPPA Statement
This app is for parents, not children. We comply with COPPA by ensuring all data is provided and controlled by you the parent, not your child. You provide and control all data, including your child’s name and their progress data. We don’t collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Security
Progress data and your child’s name are stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud storage service as a backup in case of issues.
Your name, email, payment info, and billing details are handled securely by third-party services with industry-standard protections.
Parental Rights
You’re in charge of the data:
You can review, update, or delete your child’s name and progress data in the app at any time by using the "Delete Profile" button (under My Account > Children) to delete all progress data and information about you and your child’s usage of the app.

• Hosting providers to keep the systems running.
• Payment processors to handle payments and billing.
• Authentication services to manage your app access.
• Cloud storage services to sync and back up your progress data.
These partners process data under their own industry standard privacy policies.
GDPR Compliance (Europe)
We process data because it’s necessary to deliver this service to you including provide you access to the app by processing your payment.

To provide you with this service, we collect your email, payment info, billing details, and an optional name for your child, provided by you and used only for your benefit, as described above.
